My First Teachers Pay Teachers Products

Here in Ohio we are busy starting our fourth quarter and entering the home stretch of this school year.

I have posted my first three TPT products and I am super excited. I have several more products that I am finishing up and will hopefully be ready to post soon.

The first product I posted was a free product and is my Daily 5 clip chart. I printed these cards out and attached them to ribbon to hang in the classroom. Each day the students moved their clothespins to the center they were at. This made it easy for me to know who was where and see who was on task if necessary. My students loved moving their clothespins each day to know which center they would be at.

The second and third product were my classroom jobs chart and shape cards. I will write a separate post about classroom jobs very soon because I think it deserves a post on its own. Classroom jobs are a very important part of my classroom and my students love them. I used this clip chart to show which students have which jobs each week. My students pick or change jobs every Monday. I plan to use the shape cards to display in my classroom for quick reference. I will be adding 3-D shapes very soon, so be on the lookout for that update.

And... a sneak peak at my next product. I will hopefully be posting this resource very soon as well. These schedule cards can be tailored to fit your classroom schedule. They are perfect for laminating and using over and over again each year or if your schedule changes throughout the year.

Just a few of the cards included.

These resources can be found in my TPT store.

Welcome!

Hi! My name is Lindsey Estes or known in the classroom as Miss Estes. I graduated from The University of South Alabama on December 12, 2015 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I now have certifications in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education in the state of Alabama; as well as, Early Childhood (Pre-K-3) with a Early Childhood Generalist Endorsement (4-5) and Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialists in the state of Ohio.

I completed my student teaching in Mobile, Alabama. I had the privilege to be at an amazing school for three semesters in a variety of grades, including special education. I was sad to leave such a wonderful school and area, but excited to be closer to my family.

I live in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved here in January 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this wonderful place. I am currently in a long term substitute position until mid march in a third grade classroom. After this I will be a long term substitute in a first grade classroom through mid-May. I am excited to see what adventures the remainder of the year brings and see where I end up next year.

Third grade has been nothing short of amazing. I have learned so much about myself, teaching, and my students. We have all learned and grown together through this experience. We have all challenged ourselves to try new things. Learning in unique and engaging ways is important to me. I enjoy creating resources for my class and hope to begin sharing these things soon through my Teachers Pay Teachers store. Learning can be enjoyable, and I want my students to share in this.

When I am not in school, lesson planning or prepping for class, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, catching up on my favorite Netflix shows, and catching up with friends. I enjoy traveling, especially to visit my friends from Mobile. I look forward to the time I get to spend with my best friends, Sarah and Brionna. This summer is going to be busy as I travel to visit friends, attend a wedding, and take family vacations.
